NO DOROTHY, IT'S NOT YOUR SAME OLD CONSTUCTION SITE BMP, WE DO WANT YOU TO CONTROL IT!

States nationwide are redefining NPDES general permit standards when it comes to SWPPP discharges from construction site activities.  By imposing a more eco-stringent eye toward increasing minimum BMP's with the goal of limiting not only erosion and sediment discharge but NEL's and NAL's and the chemicals monitored therein from exiting into down stream receiving waters.  Our big question is? "How, under these increased measures do you stop this waste hazards migration using the current practice of porous and/or organic materials as your primary perimeter defense"?  We have one solution.
GENERAL PUBLIC AWARENESS Program:
  NPDES, SWPPP & BMP's
Flood Hazard Mitigation & Flood Preparedness are action words which require more due diligence than just outlining them in a pamphlet.  Departments assigned to develop and distribute flood preparedness & hazard mitigation information, know the public inherently waits until the last moment to take preventative measures. This costly lack of action is due in part to the anticipatory singular mitigation practice Municipalities currently make available to the general public.  We at the "WATERBAG" would like to join in your communities flood preparedness efforts with our first of three programs carefully designed to assist Municipalities with the most daunting of tasks "enabling self reliance in its residents when faced with adverse weather conditions."

Just a few acronyms, with just as many city and government departments dealing with the responsibilities posed by mitigating the hazards of storm water. In hazard mitigation planning, the process of  risk assessment or identifying the hazard is first and foremost within every department listed above.  Developing and the implementation of a sound mitigation action plan based upon the requirements of each agency and their respected governing bodies can becomes daunting.  Let us show you how our products and service fit far more cost effectively into every segment where the current use of sandbags or K-Rails are the major mitigation efforts.

Pre-Hazard Mitigation Efforts- Hundreds sometimes thousands of feet of K-rails- Equipment, Trucks, Numerous Crews,Thousands of man hours, Tens of thousands of sandbags.

Event Hazard Efforts- Same as above, only now on closed and narrowed roads.

Post Hazard Mitigation Efforts- Same as the previous two, only now with the added expense  of disposal and land fill issues.
Look familiar?  Is this part of the well thought out Local Mitigation Plan implemented in your City under Federal Regulations (CRF) Title 44, Part 201.  "A bin of sand/dirt/gravel and thousands of poly bags strategically placed throughout a potentially effected community for your citizens.

When a "Performance Standard" rather than a "prescriptive" approach is needed. We have the plans and product that can help expedite and simplify this outdated approach.
Remember the "sweeping reform" to replace the lightbulb?  The excitement over the ROI and the millions saved each year by State, City and Local Governments.

This sweeping reform would look like a single drop of water in a swimming pool, compared  to the substantial and sustainable savings the "WATERBAG" offers.   Your ROI is first time use.
